Hillary Biscay

Hillary Biscay

Hillary Biscay raced as a professional ironwoman for a decade. She was the most prolific iron-distance competitor on the professional women’s racing circuit and 2013 Ultraman World Champion. She has completed 66 ironman triathlons, and in 2006, she set a standard in ironman racing by becoming the first person to record six top-five ironman finishes in one season. Hillary won her first ironman title at Ironman Wisconsin in 2008 in a unique fashion: this was her eighth iron-distance race of the year, just one week after she placed fourth at Ironman Louisville.

Hillary also finished second in the 2010 Ultraman World Championships (6.2-mile swim, 261.4-mile bike, 52.4-mile run) while recording the fastest Ultraman debut in history. She returned in 2013 to win and take third overall amongst the men's field, finishing closer to the winning male than a woman ever had.

Hillary is a mom of two young children, Madison, age 2, and Hill, almost 1, as well as 3 rescue pups. She loves coaching age-group and elite triathletes with TeamHPB and SMASHING IT in her spare time. After working with numerous clothing companies throughout her professional career, Hillary was still looking for the perfect gear for women to wear for their smashfests. Hence the birth of SMASH--and she is thrilled to have Michele's fashion expertise to make for a great Smashfest Queen team.

Michele Landry

Michele Landry

Michele competed in her first triathlon in 2004.  That season, she quickly developed into an endurance fanatic craving more opportunities to race and longer distances to push herself.

Michele has competed as a top age group athlete the past 10 seasons in more than 100 endurance events. Her accomplishments include qualifying for the Boston Marathon 3 consecutive years and 4 Ironman finishes, including one trip to the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, HI. She is also a new mom to daughter Skylar, who was born in October 2015.

Michele started designing Cycling and Triathlon kits several years ago simply because she was not excited about the apparel available on the market.  “I wanted to train and race in clothing that reflected my personality--stylish, badass and feminine and would make me stand out in a crowd.  Hillary and I have been friends for years and when she started coaching me, we constantly discussed fashion and what was missing in the endurance market… before we knew it, SMASH was born!"
